Microneedling is an innovative treatment that has shown great results in treating acne, fine lines, and scars. Using tiny needles, it creates microscopic trauma to the skin that then stimulates new collagen and other connective tissue formation which then leads to an improvement in overall skin texture. Results do take several weeks and often multiple sessions, however, there is minimal downtime after the procedure when compared with similar laser resurfacing which often has a downtime of two weeks or more.
